As 2025 came to a close on Wednesday, we wanted to reflect on this past year at Holy Grounds Coffee Ltd. From creating new coffee blends to attaining partnerships with local organizations, Holy Grounds has grown significantly since its establishment in May 2021. The coffee roaster received various business opportunities, with each bag of coffee sold creating a job for an individual with special needs involved in the programming at St. John of God Community Services. While we cannot wait for you all to see what’s in store in 2026, let’s look back at the monumental events and key statistics that catapulted us forward in 2025.

Notable Moments:
Holy Grounds had several notable moments throughout 2025. The coffee roaster was featured on a repeated 6abc newscast, which introduced the program that “starts with a scoopful of coffee beans” to a new audience (Iadonisi, 2025). As discussed in the news story, Holy Grounds also started being sold at the locally owned Grocery Outlet in Deptford, NJ, in addition to its existing presence at the location in Sicklerville, NJ.
Moreover, Holy Grounds created a new client blend—The Prosper. The blend is dedicated to all of the clients who work in the Prosper Fulfillment Center at SJOGCS. The label is designed with the clients’ handwriting and drawings, and the coffee has flavor notes of orange praline and dark chocolate. In addition to The Prosper, we created 2 blends for our partnership with Inclusion Coffee Shop in Elmer, NJ named Rome’s Blend and Inclusion Blend. Both coffees are organic and grown at women-owned farms internationally.

Quick Statistics:
Number of Orders: Our online orders increased by 87% from 2024 to 2025 due to the 6abc feature.
Coffee Sold: Holy Grounds sold ~2,500 lbs of coffee in 2025 to our customers and wholesalers both online and in-person.
Coffee Partners: We have partnerships with 4 eateries (Inclusion Coffee Shop, Elsie’s Burgers and Shakes, Century Bakery, and Calico Cat Café) and 2 Grocery Outlet locations (Deptford, NJ and Sicklerville, NJ).
Items Sold: Holy Grounds sold ~2,445 items to our customers and partners, including coffee bags, mugs, coasters, t-shirts, and more.
Top Coffees: Our best-selling coffees in 2025 were 1) Do Good, 2), Ryan’s Blend, and 3) Colombia.
Where Our Coffee Has Been in 2025:
In the United States, our coffee has been to Alaska, California, Delaware, Florida, Illinois, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Maryland, New Jersey, New Mexico, Nevada, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Texas, and Vermont. Internationally, our coffee has traveled to our neighboring country, Canada.

We are so grateful for all of the opportunities we received in 2025. None of these successes would have been possible without your support for our incredible staff and delicious coffee. While there have been plenty of changes to our offerings over the years, one thing has remained the same—our mission to “do good”—and we are looking forward to continuing that commitment in 2026.

So proud of this team at Holy Grounds! As long as you continue to supply this great coffee I will continue to purchase it for my family. Thank you for your time and efforts. 😇
